Meet the Roasters: Joe, Emilee, and future roasters Judah and Theo!
We founded Mally Coffee Roasters in 2025 because we wanted to share our love of coffee with others. Joe and I have been passionate about great coffee for as long as we can remember. Honestly, it’s one of the main things that brought us together. Ever since meeting in Chicago, we’ve been inspired by coffee shops and the community created around a cup.
Our coffee adventures have taken us in some fun directions. At our first Coffee Fest, we drank way too many cold brew samples from the world competition and ended up wired all night. Turns out there can be too much of a good thing. 😉 Another time, we planned a road trip on a whim and drove nine hours just to experience a new Onyx menu launch and visit all their cafés. Totally worth it. We still have a bucket list of roasters to visit, but we’re so happy to be rooted here in Indianapolis.
The coffee scene here has grown so much since we moved to Indy in 2019. We love exploring the city and seeing the inventive things our local coffee experts are up to. It’s always been our dream to be part of it, and now we find so much joy perfecting our craft.
As we continue learning, roasting, and growing, we hope you'll be part of the journey. We can't wait to share our coffee, our story, and what's next for Mally Coffee Roasters.
